PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly repair a short-circuited part at the occurrence of intralayer or interlayer short circuit in various wirings such as auxiliary wiring, and signal, scan and power lines. SOLUTION: This active matrix display device includes first wiring (e.g. the scan line 52 and the power line 53) required to cause an organic EL element 20, which is one of light emitting elements, to emit light, and second wiring (e.g. the signal line 51) provided in an underlying layer of the first wiring via an insulating film and required to cause the organic EL element 20 to emit light, wherein the scan line 52 is branched into two wirings at an intersecting position (an intersection A) between the signal line 51 and the scan line 52, and the power line 53 is branched into three wirings at an intersecting position (an intersection B) between the signal line 51 and the power line 53.
