PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the size of a heat sink of a driving motor for black from being increased by letting heat of the driving motor for the black having temperature being likely to rise escape onto a driving motor side of color. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, the heat sink 78 is connected with the driving motor 71 for the black through a heat conduction member 77. Driving motors 72, 73, 74 for the color are mutually connected by heat conduction members 75, 76. A bimetal 92 is arranged between the driving motors 71 and 72. The bimetal 92 is constituted in such a way that its terminal part 92c is fixed on the driving motor 71, its tip part 92d leaves the driving motor 72 when temperature of the driving motor 71 is less than a predetermined threshold value, and its tip part 92d comes into contact with the driving motor 72 when its temperature exceeds the predetermined threshold value. When forming a monochrome image, heat of the driving motor 71 having risen temperature escapes onto driving motor 72-73 sides for the color. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
