1. A data processing device which executes predetermined data processing by linking with one other apparatus, comprising:
a first communication unit which performs communication by way of a first communication method in which a communication connection with the other apparatus is maintained, even in a case of the data processing device and the other apparatus not being in a predetermined operation state capable of executing the predetermined data processing; a second communication unit which performs communication by way of a second communication method in which a communication connection with the other apparatus is maintained under a condition of being in the predetermined operation state; and a control unit which executes the predetermined data processing by performing data transfer via the second communication unit with the other apparatus, causes the data processing device and the other apparatus to transition to the predetermined operation state by performing predetermined communication with the other apparatus by the first communication unit, in a case of the predetermined data processing not being executable due to not being in the predetermined operation state, and then causes the predetermined data processing to be executed.
