PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an automatic transmission capable of achieving a start stage with high response in restarting an engine, and suppressing fastening shock.SOLUTION: A low clutch and a low reverse brake are fastened in a start stage. During automatic stop of an engine by idle stop control, a fastening oil pressure is supplied to the low clutch, a first oil pressure is supplied to a clearance adjustment piston of the low reverse brake, and a third oil pressure lower than the second oil pressure but not generating a negative pressure in a hydraulic chamber of a pressing piston, is supplied to the pressing piston of the low reverse brake. When the first oil pressure is supplied to the clearance adjustment piston, the clearance adjustment piston strokes, thus the pressing piston is brought into contract with a friction plate, and a clearance of the friction plate becomes zero. When the second oil pressure is supplied to the pressing piston, the pressing piston presses the friction plate, thus the low reverse brake is brought in a fastened state. |
