Related information of image data, for example disparity information or the like, is inserted into the content portion of the data packet herein. Identification information to identify the type of related information is inserted into the header portion of the data packet herein. The data packet herein is correlated to image data, and transmitted to an external device. The related information of the image data such as disparity information or the like can be efficiently transmitted to an external device. |
