a database to store extraction data corresponding to one or more sample materials obtained from a resource production field, the extraction data including microbiome data corresponding to the one or more sample materials; and a computer system configured to perform operations comprising:
analyzing the microbiome data to generate derived microbiome data corresponding to one or more time points;comparing the derived microbiome data to historical data;based on the comparison, generating predictive microbiome data, the predictive microbiome data including a prediction of one or more contributions of a resource associated with one or more subsurface intervals to a production of the resource at the resource production field; andcausing display of the predictive microbiome data in a graphical user interface to assist an operator in directing an industrial operation at the resource production field.
