Disclosed in the present invention are a method and apparatus for processing a communication event, belonging to technology field of terminals. The method comprises: obtaining information of telephone numbers marked by a plurality of different terminals and call description information; based on the call description information and the number of the terminals marking the telephone numbers, determining whether the telephone number is a harassment telephone number; if determining that the telephone number is a harassment telephone number, after receiving a query request for the telephone number, sending an interception instruction to the terminal initiating the query, so that the terminal initiating the query intercepts the communication event of the telephone number. In the present invention, the mark information of a telephone number and the call description information are collected by a server, so that the server can determine which telephone numbers are harassment telephone numbers according to the details of the mark and the call description information, thus implementing a processing mode with higher veracity corresponding to the query request of the terminal, and improving the efficiency of communication event processing. |
