A wire harness inspection method is provided with an imaging step for imaging a portion to be inspected of a wire harness and acquiring imaging data, a data-for-inspection generation step for binarizing the imaging data using a threshold based on brightness and generating data for inspection converted so as to have a two-step gradation of a first color and a second color, and a determination step for determining whether an exterior member is a corrugated tube on the basis of the distribution of the first color and second color in the data for inspection. A wire harness inspection device is provided with an imaging unit for acquiring imaging data, a data-for-inspection generation unit for binarizing the imaging data using a threshold based on brightness and generating data for inspection, and a determination unit for determining whether an exterior member is a corrugated tube on the basis of the distribution of a first color and second color in the data for inspection.
