<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device such as a liquid crystal device which can sufficiently ensure a retention capacitance and can display a high-quality image. <P>SOLUTION: In the electro-optical device which comprises: a scanning line 3a electrically connected to a gate electrode 30g; a data line 6a electrically connected to a data line side source drain region 30s; a pixel electrode 27 electrically connected to a pixel electrode side source drain region 30d; and a capacitance element 16 having a first capacitance electrode 16a electrically connected to a capacitance line 3b, a second capacitance electrode 16c provided so as to face the first capacitance electrode 16a, and a dielectric layer 16b sandwiched between the first capacitance electrode 16a and the second capacitance electrode 16c, the first capacitance electrode 16a and the capacitance line 3b are electrically connected to each other through a plurality of first contact holes CNT4 provided on an interlayer insulating film 11e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
