PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the short circuit of blown air to an outdoor unit of an air conditioning system having an air suction port on the front surface of a casing and air outlet ports on the side surfaces and upper surface of the casing. SOLUTION: This outdoor unit comprises the air suction port on the front surface of the casing 2, and the air outlet ports 4, 5 and 6 on the upper surface and lateral side surfaces of the casing 2. A heat exchanger 10 and a mixed flow fan 11 are housed in the casing 2. Air is blown obliquely downward from one of the air outlet ports 5 and 6 of the side surfaces and obliquely upward from the other. The opening lower end position of the air outlet port 5 for blowing the air obliquely downward is set above the opening lower end position of the other air outlet port 6 and also above the lower end position of the opening 12a of a fan guide.
