PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support machine for supporting natural walking of a person by being mounted on the person.SOLUTION: A walking support machine for supporting the walking of a person to be supported by accelerating the movement of one leg with the movement of the other leg of the person to be supported himself/herself includes: one passive leg which has a thigh part and a lower leg part relatively rotating though a knee joint, and further has a waist joint for making the passive leg rotate; a mounting fixture for mounting the passive leg on the other leg of the person to be supported. The mounting fixture has a waist mounting fixture for mounting the passive leg on the waist of the person to be supported. The waist mounting fixture is mounted on the waist joint of the passive leg to be in a state for restricting a hipbone of the person to be supported, and in a state where the walking support machine is mounted on the person to be supported, one leg of the person to be supported is connected to the passive leg through a pelvis of the person to be supported, the passive leg moves naturally by the movement of one leg of the person to be supported, and the movement of the other leg of the person to be supported with the passive leg mounted thereon is accelerated. |
