PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for suspension capable of easily supplying power to an element for heat assistance.SOLUTION: A substrate for suspension includes: a metal support substrate; an insulation layer formed on the metal support substrate; and a wiring layer formed on the insulation layer. The metal support substrate has an opening for placing and fitting an element for heat assistance therein in a recording element mounting area for mounting a recording element, and the wiring layer has wiring layers for heat assistance having terminal parts for directly supplying power to the element for heat assistance, and the terminal parts of the wiring layer for heat assistance are connected to the element for heat assistance on a surface on the opposite side from the insulation layer, and the element for heat assistance is electrically connected via a conductive connection part to the terminal parts folded at the insulation layer side. |
