PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of shortening a drying time of a hand dryer whose nozzle part jets air only in one direction from the upper end to the lower end of a drying space in the use and of requiring a user to alternately reverse the palm and the back of the hand. SOLUTION: This hand dryer includes a drying chamber formed into a recessed shape, a drying space formed in the drying chamber and at the upper part of the drying chamber, nozzle parts jetting warm air to the drying space, and a fan motor blowing air jetted from the nozzle parts. The fan motor is provided below the drying chamber, and the nozzle parts are disposed above and the front part of an opening part of the drying chamber, so that this hand dryer can shorten the drying time.
