<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that can detect the state of part mounting fault in a plurality of previous steps in a printed substrate part mounting step (optional point) and can achieve an inline process at optional places, and to improve the quality and yield of products by using the device. <P>SOLUTION: A commercial personal computer 3 is used and a commercial digital camera 1 is fixed at an optional position on a substrate, thus specifying and selecting an inspection place on the substrate with a special software.
