A luminous door holding apparatus is provided to facilitate holding and releasing of the door with a link device comprising two links, and to allow the user to easily find shoes by mounting a high-brightness LED(Light Emitting Diode) on an upper side of the apparatus. A luminous door holding apparatus(12) comprises a link device, and a high-brightness LED(Light Emitting Diode)(14). The link device comprising two links(11) facilitates holding and releasing of the door holding apparatus. The link device is in a position of a toggle(10) by 180 degrees, so that a friction side of the door holding device makes contact with the ground for holding. The holding state of the door holding device can be released by stepping on the two links to break the position of the toggle. The high-brightness LED is mounted on an upper side of the door holding apparatus to allow the user to easily find shoes when a motion sensor is malfunctioning.
