<p>The invention relates to heat-power engineering, in particular to such heat-mass exchange plants as a cooling tower and can be used for cooling recycling water at electric power plants, and at factories of the chemical and oil-refining industry. The invention makes it possible to increase the operational performance of a cooling tower in a hot environment by improving operating, service and maintenance conditions. The inventive cooling tower comprises a body (1) provided with air-duct windows (2) located above a storage basin (3), a water distributor (4), which is provided with a sprayer, and an irrigating unit (6). Annular tubular elements (7) are connected to each other by means of a pipeline (9), which is used for water supply form a water source independent of the water distributor (4), in such a way that they form an evaporating system (8) and are arranged in the apertures of the air-duct windows (2). Equally spaced swirl sprayers (11) are mounted on each tubular element (7) along the circle formed by said elements.</p> |
