A TCP handler (2) which presses a carrier tape (5) having a plurality of TCPs formed thereon against a probe card (8) electrically connected to a test head while supporting the carrier tape (5) by a pusher unit (3) and connects the outer terminal of the TCPs to a probe (81), thereby successively subjecting the plurality of TCPs to a test, wherein the pusher unit (3) comprises a pusher main body (33), pusher sprockets (35a, 35b) for supporting and conveying the carrier tape (5) by the front and rear stages of the pusher main body (33), and tension guides (4a, 4b) for guiding the carrier tape (5) by the front and rear stages of the pusher sprockets (35a, 35b), the pusher unit (3) being constructed such that its movement toward the probe card (8) results in pressing the carrier tape (5) against the probe card (8), the tension guides (4a, 4b) being vertically slidably attached to a pusher frame (36) through an elastic body (45), the pusher frame (36) supporting the pusher sprockets (35a, 35b). |
