PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can drive a fixing device while cam members act on urging means with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: a motor 400 that can be switched between normal rotation and reverse rotation; a first roller 11A and a second roller 11B; an urging mechanism 85 that urges the second roller 11B against the first roller 11A; cam members 62 that change a pressure applied to a nip part that is formed between the first roller 11A and the second roller 11B; and worm gears 50 that lock the cam members 62.
