PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire inner liner, while inhibiting modulus change and maintaining heat-aging resistance, hardly causing compression set even under a high temperature and high pressure state in running. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is characterized by blending a 0.5 pt.wt. to 4 pts.wt. polyalkylene glycol having a 106 to 500 molecular weight and 0 to 0.3 pt.wt. sulfur based on a 100 pts.wt. diene-based rubber containing a≥50 wt.% halogenated butyl rubber.
