PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution of an incense stick for repelling mosquito or fly by adopting a more useful enhancing agent based on the effect-enhancing activity of the exo type and Endo type in the incense stick for repelling the mosquito or fly, containing N-(2-ethylhexyl)-bicyclo[2, 2, 1]-hept-5-ene-2, 3-dicarboxyimide (effect-enhancing agent A) together with a pyrethroid. SOLUTION: This incense stick for repelling the mosquito or fly is provided by blending≥0.5 fold amount, preferably 1.0 to 5.0 fold amount of the effect-enhancing agent having the≥30% ratio of the exo type of the N-(2-ethylhexyl)-bicyclo[2, 2, 1]-hept-5-ene-2, 3-dicarboxyimide and the≤70% ratio of the Endo type of the same, based on the amount of insecticidal components.
