PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chamfered picture frame box which is easily assembled, excellent in strength, and visually stable. SOLUTION: In the chamfered picture frame box, a plurality of side walls 12 and 13 and corner walls 14 inclined in a chamfered manner are erected around a substrate 11; the corner walls 14 extend from the side wall 12 on one side thereof; an outer plate 13a, a picture frame part 13b and an inner plate 13c successively connected to the substrate 11 are provided on the side wall 13 on the other side; and a holding piece 13d extending from the corner wall 14 is held between the outer plate 13a and the inner plate 13c of the side wall 13 on the other side for keeping the shape. An outer plate 12a, a picture frame part 12b and an inner plate 12c successively connected to the substrate 11 are also provided on the side wall 12 on one side; an outer corner plate 14a, a picture frame part 14b and an inner corner plate 14c integrated with the outer plate 12a, the picture frame part 12b and the inner plate 12c and connected thereto are provided on the corner wall 14; and an escape hole 16 is formed, which leads to a boundary between the picture frame parts 12b and 14b from a boundary between the inner plate 12c and the inner corner plate 14c.
