<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of correcting a defect of a color filter, in which a white defect part in a colored layer of the color filter is corrected by selectively making a correction fluid stay in the white defect part so that a color blend or a projection is not generated newly, and to provide an apparatus for correcting the defect of the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The method or the apparatus for correcting the defect of the color filter includes; the steps or means of applying a colored photosensitive resin to an area including the white defect part; irradiating the white defect part with the light modulated according to a shape of the white defect part in the colored photosensitive resin-applied area by using a spatial light modulation element; and selectively making the colored photosensitive resin stay in the white defect part by development. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
