A membrane position adjustor that is provided with pressure measuring instruments, a gas amount adjusting machine, a pressure sensor and a controller. The pressure measuring instruments, which are interposed in a blood circuit, each comprises a housing and a diaphragm. The diaphragm separates the inner space into a blood compartment and a gas compartment and changes the position depending on the inner pressure in the blood compartment. The gas amount adjusting machine sucks and exhausts air in the gas compartment. The pressure sensor detects the inner pressure in the gas compartment. The controller estimates the position of the diaphragm on the basis of a relationship between the amount of the air sucked and exhausted by the gas amount adjusting machine and the detected pressure detected by the pressure sensor and then drives the gas amount adjusting machine in accordance with the estimated position of the diaphragm so as to adjust the diaphragm position to a regular position. |
