A portable information terminal 121 having a GPS function acquires position information 151, 152, and as a portable information terminal user 123 carries along that portable information terminal 121, position information 151, which indicates a state of residence at home, work, school, or the like, is acquired. This position information 151 is information that is specific to each user, so a management server 110 uses this as identification information for identifying users, thereby identifying the users of portable information terminals. |
