The present invention relates to a corner construction of a hollow chamber seal, wherein a filler element is arranged in the corner area of the hollow chamber seal, which supports the hollow chamber seal under deformation and dissipates the supporting forces into a component on which the hollow chamber seal is arranged. The object of the present invention is to provide a corner construction of a generic type which reliably prevents deformation of a hollow chamber seal even after prolonged use, is easy to manufacture, and also meets aesthetic concerns. This object is achieved by the filler element having a base, which is followed by a T-shape head, made of an elastomeric material, wherein the head of the filler element in the assembled state projects into the hollow chamber seal through a slit introduced into the hollow chamber seal and is supported on the wall of the hollow chamber seal opposite to the component under deformation and the base is supported on the component and dissipates the supporting forces of the head into the component. |
