PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator with a cold storage function that can suppress variations of a discharge air temperature during cold release.SOLUTION: A cold storage medium container 15 of an evaporator with a cold storage function includes: a container body portion 18 located within a range in a ventilating direction of a heat exchange core portion; and an outward protruding portion 19 that is arranged to continue only to an upper part of a leeward side edge of the container body portion 18 and to protrude to the ventilating direction outer side of a refrigerant flow pipe 12 and that has a vertical length shorter than that of the container body portion 18. The cold storage medium container 15 has a cold storage medium inclusion portion 23 including: a first inclusion portion 24 located at a portion in which only the container body portion 18 is arranged; and a second inclusion portion 25 continuing to an upper side of the first inclusion portion 24 and located at a portion in which the container body portion 18 and the outward protruding portion 19 are arranged. When a cold storage medium S has a liquid phase at room temperature, the liquid level L of the cold storage medium S is positioned within a range in the vertical direction of the second inclusion portion 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
