PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a position adjustment for suppressing eccentricity occurring due to thermal caulking in a lens retaining device.SOLUTION: A lens retaining device 1 implementing thermal caulking of a lens frame for retaining a first lens to the lens frame comprises: a cradle pedestal 3 on which a lens frame having the first lens mounted is placed; a horn part 2 that is placed at a position facing the cradle pedestal 3, and presses an end part of the lens frame in a state where the lens frame placed in the cradle pedestal 3 is heated, and deforms the lens frame; a movement part 1C that moves the horn part 2 in a movement direction M for implementing the thermal caulking; and a position adjustment mechanism 4 that moves the cradle pedestal 3 in a direction orthogonal to the movement direction M, and thereby adjusts a relative position between the cradle pedestal 3 and the horn part 2 in the movement direction M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
