摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work-piece machining method and a work-piece machining system capable of suppressing chattering vibration when a high-hardness work-piece is machined by an end mill.SOLUTION: A work-piece machining system 10 includes a machine tool 20 and an end mill 30. The end mill 30 is fitted to a spindle 26 of the machine tool 20. The end mill 30 is an unequal reed end mill provided with four sheets of cutting blades. The machine tool 20 relatively moves a work-piece 40 and the end mill 30 which rotates together with the spindle 26 and, thereby, cuts the work-piece 40. The work-piece 40 is cut on condition that a value of a/Δa gets 0.354 or more. The value of ais stability limit cut [mm] of an equal pitch end mill when the equal pitch end mill cuts the work-piece 40 in place of the end mill 30. Δa is an interval [mm] in the axial direction of a reproduction effect offset lines adjacent to each other in a reproduction effect offset diagram of the end mill 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
