PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator emergency stop device capable of bringing a wedge member into a full surface contact state with respect to a guide rail as quickly as possible in an emergency.SOLUTION: In an emergency device, both inclined surfaces 92A of wedge members 86, 88 moving upward are guided by a guide surface, the wedge members 86, 88 run obliquely toward a guide rail 26, and both fastening surfaces 92A come into contact with surfaces 26A, 26B to be fastened in an emergency. It includes a constitution in which before and after both fastening surfaces 92A coming into contact with the surfaces 26A, 26B to be fastened, both fastening surfaces 92A become swingable in the horizontal direction around a virtual vertical axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
