PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shroud retention system with keyed retention clips.SOLUTION: A shroud retention system 100 includes a shroud hanger 102 having an outer hanger wall 110 of a clip groove 124 including a narrow groove portion 154 and an enlarged groove portion 158, with the enlarged groove portion defining a radial height 162 that is greater than a radial height 164 of the narrow groove portion. The system also includes a shroud segment having a shroud wall 140 and a retention clip 106 configured to couple the shroud segment 104 to the shroud hanger. The retention clip includes an inner rail 146, an outer rail 148 and a clip wall 150 extending radially between the inner and outer rails. The inner rail may be configured to extend along an inner surface 152 of the shroud wall. The outer rail includes a narrow rail portion configured to be received within the narrow groove portion, and an enlarged rail portion configured to be received within the enlarged groove portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
