PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp remaining life of a rolling bearing just by visual recognition of an appearance of a raceway surface easily, without cutting one part of the rolling bearing.SOLUTION: A taper roller bearing (rolling bearing) includes: an outer ring 30 (first bearing ring) on which an outer ring raceway surface 32 (first raceway surface) is formed; an inner ring (second bearing ring) on which an inner ring raceway surface (second raceway surface) is formed; and a taper roller (rolling body) arranged rollably between the outer ring and the inner ring. In the taper roller bearing, at least one of the outer ring and the inner ring in an assembled state can be disassembled so as to be separated from the taper roller. On the outer ring raceway surface, a linear film 80 which wears by the rolling contact of the taper roller with respect to the outer ring raceway surface is provided in the direction crossing with respect to a revolving direction of the taper roller. In the film, a wear state according to cumulative time of the rolling contact of the taper roller is grasped beforehand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
