PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device which can select automatically music suitable for the taste of a user in accordance with the status of a place, a date or the like. SOLUTION: This device is a reproducing device selecting a plurality of music recorded in a recording medium based on a key word and reproducing it. The device is constituted by comprising an operation processing means and a recording means, information in which map information is correspondent to the key word is recorded in the recording means, the operation processing means extracts the key word corresponding to detected position information from information recorded in the recording means, and performs music selection processing based on the extracted keyword.
