<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance for constraining the head of an occupant by restricting opening of occupant side tip parts of a right and a left air bags when constraining the head of the occupant. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag 32 for a passenger seat comprises a left side air bag 44 and a right side air bag 44, and they are connected to each other by an inside strap on a central side of the inside surface, and while connected to each other by a plurality of upper straps 70 on a side close to the occupant and the top surface than the inside strap. With this structure, reaction force to be applied to the head of the occupant from the upper strap 70 when constraining the head of the occupant is remarkably small, and the tip part of the left side air bag 44 and the tip part of the right side air bag 46 can be prevented from being opened right and left. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
