<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast recorder capable of automatically (not) executing lock setting for reservation information of a program with reference to whether a specific program is in a lock setting state (protective countermeasures) in reservation information or recorded content. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcast recorder has a tuner section for receiving a broadcast signal, decoding the signal and outputting a video audio signal; a reservation setting section for executing video recording reservation for a specific program; and a lock setting section for searching the management information of the reservation information of this program or content information thereof stored in a storage section, when similar information is found, determining whether lock setting to avoid automatic deletion of the reservation after video recording has been executed for the reservation information, and if it has been executed, executing lock setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
