A method of controlling or preventing nematode and/or pathogenic damage i n a plant propagation material, a plant, and/or plant organs that grow at a later point in time, which comprises applying on the plant, part of the plan t, or the surrounding area thereof, a pesticidal combination comprising, for example, at least two active ingredient components optionally together with one or more customary formulation auxiliaries, wherein component (I) is one or more nematicide(s) and component (II) is one or more plant activator(s), in any desired sequence or simultaneously.
