PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knit fabric blended with a cellulosic spun yarn, free from the problems of the deterioration in the stretching function and embrittlement caused by physical and chemical actions due to repeated wearing and washing, and having high stretchability required as clothes and a clothes material moderately fitting to the body, excellent elongation recovery and shape stability, light weight, soft feeling and excellent sweat absorbing property. SOLUTION: The knit fabric is composed of a polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber and a cellulosic spun yarn, and a water-absorbing silicone compound having a hydrophilic group introduced into the compound and a silicone compound having a vinyl-containing monomer introduced into the compound are attached to the fabric.
