REMOTE VIDEO PLAYBACK SYSTEM, RECEIVER AND TRANSMITTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote video playback system capable of confirming video images during a communication impossible state even when falling into the state, a receiver and a transmitter. SOLUTION: The remote video playback system comprises: a prediction part for referring to a map data storage part on the basis of traveling conditions acquired by a traveling condition acquisition part and predicting communication impossible time; a photographing part installed at a remote location for photographing the periphery of the remote location where it is installed; a photographed image data storage part for tentatively storing photographed image data photographed by the photographing part within prescribed time including the communication impossible time predicted by the prediction part; a thinned image data generation part for generating thinned image data for which the photographed image data tentatively stored in the photographed image data storage part are thinned; and a playback part for playing back the video images indicated by the thinned image data generated by the thinned image data generation part until the prescribed time elapses after communication becomes possible and playing back the video images indicated by real time image data photographed by the photographing part after the prescribed time elapses.
