PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device compatible with multiple languages capable of setting automatically a language to be used. SOLUTION: The navigation device compatible with multiple languages having map information and voice guide information in a plurality of languages, for performing navigation control by a designated language includes a database for preserving the map information and the voice guide information in the plurality of languages, a communication part for communicating with a cellular phone, a used language acquisition part for receiving a used language set in the cellular phone from the cellular phone through the communication part and preserving it, and a navigation control part for performing navigation control by using the map information and the voice guide information of the used language acquired from the cellular phone.
