PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound interactive system with which a plurality of users dialogue with each other by sound through a network, making it possible to perform control as in stop of call from a speaker not seen by an addressee, or in muting of communication from a speaker in a too far distance. SOLUTION: Terminals A and B include respectively: avatar management information memories 17A and 17B which store avatar management information for managing positions of logical figures (so-called avatars) representing users (i.e. speakers) at the respective terminals, visual line directions and visual ranges etc., and world management information memories 18A and 18B for managing a logical world shared by the avatars at the terminals A and B.
