A MOS Tx-Rx switch with reduced receiver branch leakage, distortion and insertion loss

A transmit-receive switch comprising MOS transistors may be integrated in a CMOS IC. The body of transistor 412 in the receive branch is earthed by switch 406 during transmission, which prevents channel formation. The capacitors 418 and 420 reduce the gate-source or gate-drain RF signal voltages of transistors 408 and 412, which prevents the transistors turning on during transmission. Leakage and distortion of the transmission signal are reduced. The body of 412 is allowed to float during reception to reduce insertion loss.
