A door restraint comprises a saddle housing 1 which engages over the door and pivotally supports a shaft 2 from which a restraining arm 3 extends. An apertured disc 4 is secured to the shaft 2 and an apertured member 5 is secured on the housing to enable a padlock to engage through the apertures to lock the arm 3 in position. In the position shown the arm 3 will engage the door frame to prevent door opening but the arm can be rotated to a inactive position. |
