<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece dial that ensures a light transmission amount and has a superior esthetic appearance as well as to provide a watch that comprises the timepiece dial, ensures a sufficient electric-generating capacity by solar battery, and has a superior esthetic appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The timepiece dial 20 includes an electrophoresis dispersion-containing layer 40 and a reflective film 8 with an aperture 82 at the light-entering side of the electrophoresis dispersion-containing layer 40 (upper side in Fig. 1). The electrophoresis dispersion-containing layer 40 includes an electrophoresis dispersion 10 where electrophoresis particles 5 are dispersed into a liquid medium 6 and is constructed so that the light amount transmitting through the timepiece dial 20 can be adjusted by electrophoresing the electrophoresis particles 5 in the electrophoresis dispersion-containing layer 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
