摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing plate precursor excellent in printing resistance and chemical resistance and suppressing the occurrence of abrasion during exposure. <P>SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate precursor comprises a substrate and a positive recording layer prepared on the substrate. The positive recording layer contains (A) a polymer having a structural unit represented by the general formula (I), (B) a polymer having a structural unit represented by the general formula (II), and (C) a compound which absorbs light and generates heat, and has solubility in an alkaline developer improved by light-exposure or heating. In the general formula (I), R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>3</SP>each represents hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and R<SP>4</SP>and R<SP>5</SP>each represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, an arylalkyl group or the like.
