<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PWM signal generating circuit capable of suppressing noises caused from an inverter device, and preventing deterioration in power conversion efficiency of the inverter device. <P>SOLUTION: The PWM signal generating circuit for generating a signal used to PWM-control the inverter device includes: a carrier signal generating means; a command value signal generating means; and a pulse signal generating means for generating a pulse signal from the carrier signal and the command value signal. The carrier signal generating means generates a carrier signal having a frequency based on the state amount of a DC power supply for generating DC power, and sets the frequency of the carrier signal to be generated at not less than a predetermined frequency near the upper limit of human audible band if the state amount is not less than a predetermined value, and sets the frequency of the carrier signal to be generated at less than the predetermined frequency if the state amount is less than the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
