PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that can be structured compactly as a whole and that can prevent a belt, a string or a connecting member from being displaced. SOLUTION: A connector is structured including a pair of holders (A, B) turnably connected to each other. At least one of the holders (A, B) includes: a first clamping plate (10); a second clamping plate (20) that is held to rise and fall relative to the first clamping plate (10); a projecting engaging part (30) that is provided at one (the first clamping plate (10)) of the opposing faces of the first clamping plate (10) and the second clamping plate (20); and a part (40) to be engaged with the engaging part (30) that is provided at the other (the second clamping plate (20)) of the opposing faces of the first clamping plate (10) and the second clamping plate (20).
