PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide X-ray CT equipment photographing a plurality of sites different in body diameter size at one scanning and maintaining a picture quality obtained by the scanning excellent. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT equipment is mounted with an amplifier which has many kinds of gains and amplifies respective signals outputted by an X-ray detector with any of the many kinds of gains. Then, each size in the body diameter direction at each position in the body axis direction of a subject is premeasured and a gain value of a signal at each position is predetermined on the basis of measured sizes. When exposure of an X-ray starts, the gain of the amplifier is switched for each signal according to the determined gain value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
