A second mode to form an image is based on a predesignated type of recording medium, whereas a first mode to form an image is based on the detected type when a detection is performed to a recording medium which is fed.
To provide for optimal image forming conditions and throughput, in case, a detection is performed to a recording medium which is fed in the second mode whereas, in the first mode, image forming conditions are set based on a former result of the sheet type detection without executing the sheet type detection anew. |
