The purpose of the present invention is to improve heat dissipation properties in a coil component provided with an insulating layer wherein a coil core is embedded and a coil electrode wound around the coil core. A coil electrode 4 provided in a coil component 1a is provided with: a plurality of inside metal pins 5a arranged on the inner peripheral side of a coil core 3; a plurality of outside metal pins 5b arranged on the outer peripheral side of the coil core 3 so as to form a plurality of pairs with the inside metal pins 5a; a plurality of lower side wiring patterns 7 each of which connects the lower edges of an inside metal pin 5a and an outside metal pin 5b, which form a pair, to each other; and a plurality of upper side wiring patterns 6 each of which connects the upper edge of an outside metal pin 5b to the upper edge of an inside metal pin 5a adjacent to the inside metal pin 5a forming a pair with that outside metal pin 5b. Each of the upper side and lower side wiring patterns 6, 7 has a wiring part 6a, 7a connecting an outside metal pin 5b and an inside metal pin 5a and a heat dissipating part 6b, 7b formed so as to extend to the outer peripheral side of the coil core 3 from the wiring part 6a, 7a. |
