PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion material that has a wider wavelength area permitting wavelength conversion on the long wavelength side as compared to ZnO:Zn, and also has superior chemical stability as compared to ZnSe, CdS and CdO, and further shows low toxicity; a base material with wavelength conversion function that has a film comprising the wavelength conversion material; a solar cell sealing material comprising the wavelength conversion material; and a solar cell module that has one or both of solar cell cover glass comprising the base material with wavelength conversion function and the solar cell sealing material.SOLUTION: A wavelength conversion material comprises a semiconductor material represented by composition formula (1-x) ZnO/x(ABO)and having a wurtzite structure or a wurtzite superstructure, where A and B are elements which can form ABOcomplex oxides, A is +1 valent element, B is +3 valent element, and x is a numeric value of 0.01-0.99.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
