PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a problem that workability of wallpaper re-covering operations is extremely reduced as a part of the wallpaper remains on a wall surface by fracture of the wallpaper or interlayer detachment when detaching the wallpaper from the wall surface in wallpaper re-covering.SOLUTION: A substrate for wallpaper contributing to enhancement of workability in wallpaper re-covering with efficiently preventing a part of the wallpaper from remaining a wall surface when detaching the wallpaper from the wall surface during wallpaper re-covering can be provided by using a substrate for wallpaper constituted by at least natural pulp and synthetic fiber, having average fiber length of the synthetic fiber of 5 mm to 60 mm and obtained by papermaking them with a wet type papermaking method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
